Merrill Man Refuses Testing, Arrested For 6th Offense OWI

MERRILL – Merrill Police officers were contacted by a local business on West Main Street on Monday June 20 regarding a resident in the store being highly intoxicated. An Officer who located the vehicle made contact with the male subject, who was found to have a 0.02 blood alcohol restriction.

The driver displayed signs that indicated impairment, however he refused field sobriety tests. He was arrested for 6th offense operating while under the influence and threats to law enforcement. The name of the individual has not been released at this time.
